| ..::Restless Spirits and Shadow Souls::..
Ah, my betrayal. My heart, it couldn't resist the temptation to pick up the pieces and never regret. And yet, I feel completely safe. Completely aware of my future. Unafraid. For once in my life, I can say that there's nothing I have to fear because there is some one I can depend on. Some one who loves me completely and respects me and honors me. It is a nice feeling to be so assured and not have to worry about my heart being betrayed. It's a great comfort.
^^ and he sent me flowers <3 LOL! I feel so spoiled :3 teehee.
Anyways, it was quite rough for awhile. SE is not being very kind to me T_T but I'm gonna put my faith in Pete to get me a job, or less he fear the wrath of Amanda. :3
And I came up with this really great game idea (Shadow Souls) today for my Game Industry class. We're supposed to design it for the DS and I'll post it all up with pics and stuff when I complete the write up for the game ^^ But it's gonna kick arse! Oh yeah :D
Ah, well... Things were really buggin me for a few days. Ie. too much SPAM. :3 lol. Thanks Tash. And no, it's not the cooking, it's the spam T_T;; LoL, ask my parents, I always disliked spam. >.>; But I do appreciate you cooking when I've been busy >.> or... preoccupied :3 lol. But as my cut pinky finger and burn marks as proof, I will cook ya good meals (especially now that i have money again :3) lol.
Ah man, Penny's coming over today! w00ts! LOL! I'm so excited! And we're gonna go watch Da Vinci and probably X3 as well. It would be a crime if I didn't see X3! O_O LoL. Sooo looking forward to this ^^
But for now! I must finish my butt load of homework T_T damn school. Damn it all to hell. LoL.

| ..::Entering Kingdom Hearts::..
Well, I haven't been updating for awhile for the specific reason that I feared if I had said anything, I wouldn't get it.
However, good things happen even when things seems bleak.
About three and a half weeks ago, I signed on to Craig's List here and looked up QA jobs. They had one listed for El Segundo area. Tash told me that's where Square Enix is located, so I clicked and sure enough, SE was looking for game testers.
I immediately turned over my resume.
Later that afternoon, I recieved a phone call. They reviewed my resume and accepted my accplication for testing. I went to the office, passed the test, then went for the interview. I'm in. ^^
I got the official word today that I've been hired to work as a game tester for Square Enix. Tash and her bro signed up after me as well. So far we know Dylan also got in. Tash just had her testing, so it will still be awhile for her.
On top of that, I was invited to work at the Square Enix booth at E3 as well! HOLY SHEETO! I'm so stolked... Now if only I can get out of classsssss.... T_T lol

Dang. That song has been stuck in my head since we started playing KH2 :3 But it actually is a nice song. And I love the instrumental version.
Anyways, it's been a busy spring break for me. Had to get my classes squared away. O_O Took like 3 hours just to do that.. But I have an easier schedule this quarter. I wanted something a little less hecktic than last quarter. I had a lot of work and I just don't think I could handle a job and that amount of work. ^^; But it's cool. I have like public speaking class :3 lol. I hope I do well in that ^^; not something that's my strong point.
And watching Dyl play KH2 is making me want to rip the controller from him and play myself :3 lol.
Supposedly I had suspended my FFXI account, but I think someone is paying for it right now T.T;; after I said NO. *cough* I think I have 3 days left in WoW.. Wonder if I can suspend that account :3 lol. I wanna play with my wolfie <3 Thanks to Bobby for helping me get that ubber cool wolf ^^ He's bluish white! <3 lol. ^^ love doggies ^.^;
Well, yesterday after registering my classes and all, Tash called me to say we could move into the new appartment that night o.o Even though we were supposed to go to the movies and stuff, we ended up moving everything over. Thank you soooo much Bobby for all the help (even though it wasn't intended for you to be there, it was a GREAT help). LoL.... yeah, me and Dyl were like, "If we had to move all this stuff today, by ourselves, we would've died." O_O We are very much indebt. /bow Thank you for everything, Bobby! <3
So anyways, we rewarded ourselves with a hearty "grandma" cooking meal... as I call it :3 lol. I spent the night... well, from like 1130-1am XD cooking sweet potato tenpura and misoyaki butterfish. It was my first time cooking fish too ^^ But it was sooo good <3 made me miss home ^^; Hehe, I think Dyl is really happy to have me here. lol. But I do love to cook ^^; Need new knives though O_O lol We should do that again though, it was a lot of fun. ^^ I say I cook some teriyaki steak next time ^^ good stuff. LoL. And playing all that Soul Cal was fun too ^^; I will use my broom to sweep you away! "BUSHA BUSHA BUSHAAAAAAAA!"
Hehe, KH2 is awesome. So far we've had a Disney Karaoke with like 4 songs from Mulan and Beauty and the Beast. ^^ It's an awesome game! Everyone should play it ^^
Anyways, my break is drawing to an end. I shall ttyl. ^^ Ja matta da na!

| ..::Our first drinking story::.. (Cause Tash said I should put it up for your entertainment)
So, I told you how I responded to like 1/3 a bottle of sake. I'm slightly disappointed that I got no buzz or anything from it. ; ; lol
Tash, on the other hand.... LoL!
She had one shot worth and didn't even down it, sipped up half of it then mixed the other half with the cherry lime-aid. :3 About 5 mins after starting to drink it, she started to get kinda loud and giggly. LoL. So I went online to check out the pets they had for World of Warcraft and we were looking at them and she was like, "ooooo... pretty kitty...." *pokes my screen* LOL! I was like, "OMG! Are you drunk?!" "No, no way. But I do feel kind of light headed..." "Lol! I think you are! You're so loud too! LoL! WTH?" XD
All during this I was on the phone with Bobby letting him know how we were doing and checking up on him. Yeah, Tash was laughing and occassionally hitting me... LoL. I was like... >.> No more for you.... LoL. Bobby said he could hear her on my phone too. I was just cracking up so much cause I couldn't believe how like... hyper she got after one shot worth! XD Damn. I wanna see what'll happen if she gets any more in her system.
Meanwhile, after about 10-15 minutes. She passed out sleeping deeply. Didn't even get up for dessert. LoL! That was just too much :3
Hehe, that was just too entertaining. ^^;
So, there's my first drinking story. I'm sure there will be one about me someday... hopefully not something like, "OMG! Amanda had to drink like a hole bottle of Bacardi before getting drunk and when she did, she was soooooo out of it! LMAO" >.> lol. Yeah... :3 Until then! ^^

I'm home!
After a 38 hour train ride, I finally made it to LA! ^^ Big Big BIG Thank you to Bobby and Tash for coming to get me at that ungodly hour and for then spending the day with me. ^^ It was a lot of fun! I was missing the interaction terribly. I look forward to our other adventures in the future. ^^ And Bobby, I hope your car isn't too bad off ; ; You really didn't have to do all you did, but I appreciate it immensely.
Also. I tried my first alcohol tonight. A bit of sake. First, I was quite reluctant to drink it... LoL. In fact, I was the last one to try it, but I downed the whole shot. It was hella nasty tasting, lol. But I was feeling fine after, so I decided to try another... but this time, mix it in some juice. I had been drinking Propel, after I downed the first shot, but I only had a few sips left, so Tash mixed the rest of her's in some cherry lime-aid and I mixed another shot and a half in a new glass. Much better! But I still don't feel anything.... LoL... so I'm just trying another shot and a half worth to see if it does anything... I'm pretty much done with it, but I feel fine so far. lol. I guess the infamous Fujita women trait has been passed onto me :3
Well, after that long train ride, today was hella fun ^^ I enjoyed it a lot and I can't wait to do more over the short break I have. ^^ I'll keep you all updated! ^^
